Potato Soup

Kiora has asked me to put this on. She said she has never made this. So here is how I do it.
  1. Peel as many potatoes + 3 as you are feeding.
  2. Cut the potatoes into big chunks and boil in a pot of water until soft.
  3. Drain potatoes and return to the pot.
  4. Pour milk over the potatoes in the pot until potatoes are covered.
  5. Add onions and salt and pepper to taste, 1 can of chedder cheese soup
  6. Bring to boil while stirring often. Let boil for about 5 mins than take it down to simmer for 20 mins or so.
  7. For a smoother soup mash the potatoes.

the great thing about this soup is you can add whatever you like and it just improves it. I have added carrots, scallops, broccli, cauliflower, dumplings. I've even seen people add sausage. Put it in a bread bowl (yummmm). So have fun with it. I have been making this soup since I was 10 years old. Sorry I don't have exact measurements. Call me if you have questions.
